Isa has made up his own creation story as to how he came into the world that he likes to act out with me. It starts with him at the Angel Store—he stands with his eyes closed, serious face and his arms stretched out like wings (looks like Jesus on the cross). I sit on the bed, with eyes closed, and wish aloud that an angel would come to me so that I could have a little baby. Then “January” picks him out and brings him to our house where he finds me sitting on the bed. Then he crawls into my lab, curled up fetal position and that’s when he’s in my belly. Then he flings himself off my lap onto the bed and I exclaim, “Here’s my little baby! I will call him Isa.” He spends the first moments discovering his arms and legs and body. Then I say, “I am your mommy and I will love you forever.” We embrace in a big hug and I promise take good care of baby Isa. The End.

That is so funny – this creation story Isa came up with! I’m sure you are bombarded daily like I am lately of the ‘who’, ‘what’, ‘where’, ‘when’, ‘why’ (especially why) and ‘how’ of things. Keira drives me crazy with her questions. I feel bad and often just say ‘just because’ or ‘it just is’ ‘i don’t know’ ….but then I know this is how they are learning so I try to answer what I can. Anyhow, love the pictures you posted recently and what you wrote about the Momma Zen book. Now I want to check it out. Hope all is well mama! xoxo
